1. About This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to all products and services offered by Arvantica, including the Arva AI mobile application ("App"), the Arvantica website at arvantica.in ("Site"), the Arva AI managed API, and the embeddable website widget ("Widget"). By using any of these products, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect
Arva AI App (on-device): The App performs all AI inference locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of the following from the App:
- Your conversations, prompts, or chat history
- Documents or files you import into the App
- Memory entries or notes you save
- Your device's microphone, camera, contacts, or location
Account registration (website / API): If you create a personal account on arvantica.in, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and a hashed password. For a business account, we additionally collect your business name, email, phone, and website URL.
Payments: Payments are processed by Razorpay. We store only the Razorpay order ID, payment ID, amount, and credits added. We never store card numbers, CVV, or bank details — those stay with Razorpay exclusively.
Usage: Our website may collect anonymized page-view counts to understand overall traffic. No advertising trackers are used.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you securely
- To process payments and issue API credits or widget access keys
- To respond to support requests and communications
- To send transactional emails (payment confirmation, key delivery) — no marketing emails without explicit opt-in
- To maintain the security and integrity of our services
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data to train AI models, sell it to third parties, or share it with advertisers.
4. On-Device Processing — Arva AI App
The Arva AI mobile application is designed so that all AI processing happens entirely on your device. Your conversations, prompts, and any data you enter into the App are never transmitted to Arvantica's servers and are never seen by us.
You can delete your local app data at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling. Model weights are downloaded once over an encrypted connection — no conversation content is associated with downloads.
5. Managed API and Website Chat
If you use the optional managed API or the chat on arvantica.in, your prompts are sent to our server and forwarded to an Azure OpenAI endpoint to generate a response. We do not store the content of individual messages beyond the current session. Only usage counts (number of API calls) are recorded against your account for credit tracking.
6. Third-Party Services
- Razorpay — payment processing. Governed by Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
- Hostinger — web hosting and database infrastructure.
- Microsoft Azure OpenAI — AI inference for managed API and website chat.
We do not share your personal data with any other third parties except as required by law.
7. Cookies and Local Storage
Our website uses a secure session cookie to keep you logged in, and browser local storage to remember your theme preference (light/dark). We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where legally required to retain it (e.g., payment records may be kept up to 7 years for Indian tax compliance).
Arva AI App data is stored only on your device — we cannot access it. You can delete it anytime by clearing app data or uninstalling.
9. Security
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — we never store plaintext passwords
- All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS / TLS
- Payment credentials are handled entirely by Razorpay and never touch our servers
- Sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies with SameSite=Lax

10. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

- Correction — update inaccurate data via your profile settings or by contacting us
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated personal data
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

12. International Users
Arvantica is operated from India. If you access our services from outside India, your information may be transferred to and processed in India or in cloud regions used by our hosting providers.
